Professor of Université du Maine gave lecture for physicists of ZNU
Yesterday during the visit of a foreign guest, Professor of the Université du Maine Nirin Randrianantoandro met with the academic staff of the Faculty of Physics of ZNU and students. Mr. Randrianantoandro told about the directions of activities of the French University and gave a lecture about the latest direction of research – nanomagnetism, which is successfully developed by the French physicists.

February 29. Zaporizhzhya National University held a public lecture on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Albert Einstein's general relativity. The event, which is attended high school schools, gymnasiums and lyceums of the city and the region, organized by members of the Department of Education and Science of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration and Research Laboratory, a branch of the National Center "Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" with the support of representatives of our university. Became lecturer Associate Professor of Theoretical Physics Dnipropetrovsk National University. Honchar, a permanent member of the jury of Ukrainian students in physics known scientist Oleg Orlyanskiy. 
January 28 a seminar "Raising the level of professional competence of physics teachers via adoption of high technologies" for physics teachers of schools, vocational-technical schools and universities I-II levels of accreditation was held at the premises of Faculty of Physics of Zaporizhzhia National University . The event was attended by more than 50 physics teachers.
On December 6 at ZNU held traditional stage of All-Ukrainian Junior Academy of Sciences. Took part in it about 600 high school students - pupils of 9-11 forms of secondary schools. Zaporizhzhya region (Polohy, Guliaipole, Tokmak, Kushuhum, Novokaterynivka etc.). Contestants written tests in different fields regional stage of the competition JAS - protecting scientific works, scheduled to take place in February 2016.
Yesterday, according to the plan of international, national, regional (inter-university), university research, scientific, methodical scientifically conferences and seminars in Zaporizhzhya National University in 2015, at the Physics Faculty hosted a regional inter-university conference "Theoretical and Experimental Basics of Material Science". It was attended by scholars of our university, Zaporizhzhya National Technical University and representatives of enterprises of Zaporizhzhya.
On May 28 in Zaporizhzhya National University at the sports complex was held the evening of ZNU Sports Hall of Fame dedicated to the prize winners and winners of ZNU Sports Contest.
The Faculty of Physics won sports and athletics meeting in basketball among boys. They won the final with a score of 50:24. The second place took the Faculty of Economics, and the third - Faculty of Foreign Philology.
A few days ago were announced the results of the first round of the scholarship program ZAVTRA.UA. Among the 700 students from all over Ukraine, who will participate in the second round of the competition which included twenty students of Zaporizhzhya National University. On the next stage of the competition the jury will assess their scientific works, and authors of the best of them qualify to the final round of the competition, the results of which appointed a scholarship.
