She is a 4th year student at ZNU. Tetiana Nosanenko won the 3rd place in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Studies in Romance Languages (Spanish, French). All-Ukrainian competition of scientific works was on April 15-17 at the Kiev National Linguistic University. The topic of Tetiana Nosanenko's Scientific Work is "The Conceptualization of Weather in Spanish Linguoculture". This work was written with the lead of Docent of the Department of Romance Philology and Translation of Maria Byba. In the positive review of the experts of the contest committee the student's scientific work was highly appreciated the relevance and practical orientation of the results of the work. They have also highly appreciated the level of use of scientific literature and other sources of information, as well as the availability of scientific publications.

At the beginning of April 2020, the final stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for student scientific works on Ukrainian language and literature (with the method of their teaching) took place at the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology of the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna. The sectoral competition commission for Ukrainian literature provided review of 37 student papers. The commission admitted 11 authors' works as applicants for the award. It is nice to note that among the winners is a student of the Philological Faculty Oleksandr Smyrnov.

Students of the Faculty of Management of ZNU took the 3rd place in the team competition of the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty "Logistics".

Recently, the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works on natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in the field of knowledge "Ecology", which was attended by over 120 participants from 65 universities in Ukraine, including Zaporizhzhia National University has been held on the basis of Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University.

On March 28, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the specialty "Metallurgy" was held. The competition took place at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (Dnipro city), where students of the Metal Forming Department of the Faculty of Metallurgy of Engineering Institute presented a work on the topic “Calculation of forming rolls for strength and deformation in the AutoCAD Mechanical software”.

The chairmen of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Candidates and Young Scientists at the faculties held meetings with freshmen   during September-October.  Within these meetings, participants learned about the main areas of work of the Scientific Society.

On April 11, Department of History (ZNU) hosted sectional meetings of the scientific and practical conference for students and young scientists "Young Science - 2018": "World History and International Relations", "Chronology, Historiography", "Ancient and New History of Ukraine" and "Newest History of Ukraine".
