Dutch Professor Nico Drok gave a guest lecture at the Faculty of Journalism

The Faculty of Journalism of ZNU (Zaporizhzhia National University) within the framework of international activities invited Professor Nico Drok (Windesheim University (Netherlands) to give a guest lecture to the faculty teachers and students majoring in specialties "Journalism" and "Information, Library and Archival Affairs". Professor Drok’s lecture was "How teachers of journalism faculties see future professions in the context of social change: a view from different countries".

MultiEd Сonsortium Partners Discussed Strategies for Multilingual Education in Ukrainian HEIs

Participants of the international project Erasmus + KA2 MultiEd "Foreign Language Teacher Training Capacity Development as a Way to Ukraine’s Multilingual Education and European Integration" are actively working on developing of strategies for multilingual education. Recently, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MESU) as a partner of the MultiEd consortium initiated an advisory seminar to exchange experience and ideas on the way to creating these strategies. The project Manager Oleksandra Golovko (University of Tartu, Estonia) moderated the event.

Erasmus + KA2 MultiEd participants studied the CLIL methodology during a study visit to Estonia

At the end of October, ZNU teachers attended a five-day study visit to Estonia as part of the MultiEd international educational project “Foreign Language Teacher Training Capacity Development as a Way to Ukraine’s Multilingual Education and European Integration / MultiEd” under the umbrella of Erasmus+ KA2 project. Associate Professors of the Department of English Philology and Linguistic Didactics Natalia Nadtochii, Maryna Zaluzhna and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Theory and Practice of English Translation Viktoriia Pohonets visited the Estonian cities – Tallinn, Tartu and Narva. The visit was devoted to getting acquainted with the specifics of the application of the methodology of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Estonian educational institutions.
