At the beginning of the academic year the Foreign Languages Department faculty planned to vorganize two visits to the Zaporizhzhya region schools for recruiting the future students. During tese visits the FLD creates the database of the potential students and invite them for th consultations each Saturday. During the quick tests the teachers evaluate their level of the langauge fluency.
On December 8 in Zaporizhzhya National University there was the Interuniversity Student scientific and Practical Conference "Christmas Readings". It is the fifth time this conference is being organized at the Department of Foreign Languages. This year 115 participants' applications were received.
At the Foreign Languages Department the people think that its future depends on each who works or studies there.
The German Consular General in Donetsk Claus Zillikens visited ZNU. He discussed the state and perspectives of the further cooperation of Germany and the university. He also visited the German Language center that works at the Department of Foreign Languages.
On October 26 there was the 11th seminar-training for secondary schools teachers at the Department of Foreign Languages.
