Law Department Representatives Fight For Human Rights and Freedoms

There was the round table discussion devoted to the International Day of Human Rights entitled "General Declaration of Human Rights: What Was Done in Ukraine and What Needed to Be Thought About" at the Zaporizhzhya Oblast State Administration. The ZNU representatives participated in it.

Flesh Mob at SPP

25th of November is the International Day of Fighting Against Liquidation of the Women Violence. The students of the department of Social Pedagogy and Psychology organized the flesh mob to raise this problem in our society. They joined the international and all-Ukrainian action 16 Days Against Gender Violence, which is taking place from November, 25 till December, 10.

ZNU Students Watched International Documentary Film Festival

Traditionally on October there are presentations of the winners of the festival of the documentary films about human rights Docudays UA-2011 in the Ukrainian cities. The travel festival came to Zaporizhzhya too. The films are shown at the city cinemas and at the universities, schools, clubs, and libraries. The lawyers and artists meet youth after the films viewing for the further discussions.

Law Department Teacher Visited USA within Open World Program

The Law Department of ZNU continues cooperation with the higher educational establishments of the United States of America. Within the Open World Program funded by the U.S. Department of States the Vice Dean Michael Vikhlyaev visited USA. On September, 14-25 he visited Washington D.C. and Chicago.
