On December 14 the second part of the “MODERN APPROACHES TO TEACHING ENGLISH” seminar was held in ZNU as part of the American English Laboratory project with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine. The coaches at this event were associate professors of the Theory and Practice Department of Translation from English Svitlana Zapolskykh and Oleksandra Holovko - participants and initiator of Faculty of Foreign Philology participation in an international grant project.
Coordinator of the European Program Erasmus + in the direction of Jean Monet "European Values in Literary Arts", deputy dean of the Faculty of History for International Affairs, associate professor of the Department of World History and International Relations Stanislav Cherkasov took part in the International Conference of Project Coordinators Erasmus+ held on November 28-29 in the city of Brussels. The event was organized by the European Commission together with the Executive Agency for Education of the European Union.
First-year postgraduate students continue to master the course “Fundamentals of European Project Activities”, which is implemented in ZNU in the framework of the international EUROPROC project. Together with the professors of the module Jean Monnet, associate professor Nataliia Voronova, they were able to make sure from their own experience that it is quite possible to enjoy the learning process!
The project “Innovative University and Leadership” has been going on for the fifth year now and is being held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and under the patronage of the Foundation of Polish Rectors - the Institute of Knowledge Society.
Recently, within the framework of the second year of the international project EUROPROC, the educational process has begun for the first year of graduate students in teaching the course “Fundamentals of European Project Activities”, in ZNU. During the first module, the students together with the professor, academic coordinator of the project, Viktoriia Meniailo, will become familiar with the key concepts of project activities and the main elements of the project’s logical structural matrix.
The Day of European Projects was held in ZNU for the first time on October 22. Its goal is to popularize project activities at the university, which is an important stage in the implementation of international projects “European Project Culture”, “Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine”, “European Values in Fiction Texts”, which are currently taking place in ZNU.
The project “Bilrgerbeteiligung in Oberhausen und Saporishja” continues for the second year and provides German-Ukrainian cooperation in the scientific and applied areas. Representatives of Zaporizhzhia national university actively participate in this project. The working group of the project includes the vice-rector for scientific work, professor Hennadii Vasylchuk and the Head of the Department of Civil Law, professor Dmytro Yarmolenko.
A meeting of project managers of Zaporizhzhia national university was held under the chairmanship of the pro-rector for scientific and pedagogical work of Yurii Kahanov on September 17.
Plenty of attention is paid to project activities and successful implementation of grant programs on the Biological Faculty of Zaporizhzhia national university. So, until today ZNU continues to work on the implementation of the received grant within the framework of the social project "We are a city", which was won this summer.
