January 26 in Kiev NSK "Olympic", the first award ceremony of young sporting talent at the age of 18 years on the results of last year "Junior Sports Awards". The first award nominees were winners of the main sporting event last year - the 2nd youthful Olympiad in Nanjing, including student of Economics and Law College of ZNU Yelyzaveta Babii. She was awarded the "Junior Sports Awards" in the nomination "The best record of the year". 
January 27, on the basis of sports and recreation complex of Zaporizhzhya National University held the opening day of the sports contest between professors and representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University, which were held untill January 30. The organizers of these competitions were representatives of sports and recreation complex and representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University.
January 26 in Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration on the occasion of the Student's Day held the winners of the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian contest program "The Best Student of Ukraine - 2014", among them - four students of Zaporizhzhya National University.
January 24 at the Faculty of Law of ZNU was held the awarding ceremony of the European Diploma Supplement for bachelor and master's degree – alumni 2014. Affirmation of European level of education received 23 best alumni of the Faculty of Law.
January 25 at Zaporizhzhya Regional Philharmonic in the name of Mykhailo Hlinka was held solemn meeting of Zaporizhzhya Muslim religious communities "Yakty Yul", dedicated to offensive Rabi' al-awwal – the holy time for representatives of religious confession, the month in which was born the Prophet of Muhammad. At the event, besides the members of the community were present senior officials of the region, delegates from public organizations and educational institutions of our city. Thus, from Zaporizhzhya National University the event visited, Vice-Rector for Science and Research Hennadii Vasylchuk.
January 22 at ZNU Trade College was celebrated Ukraine Unity Day. At the initiative of the student council college for the holiday on the first floor opened an information corner which presents official documents, photographs, postcards, newspaper articles on the subject the holiday.
January 21 was held a scientific and practical seminar "Auditing work: state and modern tendencies of the development of professional ethics." The event was organized and conducted by representatives of the Department of Accounting and auditing of Zaporizhzhya National University with the participation of Zaporizhzhya regional branch of the "Union of Auditors of Ukraine" and Information-methodological Center "Audit Zaporizhzhya."
Within the framework of the Resource Science Center for Sustainable Development, which recently opened on the basis of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of Zaporizhzhya National University, held the first meeting the working group. It had been dedicated to the presentation of the EU / UNDP Project "Local Development to Community Based Approach - ІІІ", within which there was also trainings for students.
