June 6, the students of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology prepared the "kapustnik". In such way the students of the 5th course (specialty: Dramatic Arts, the head of the course - Honored Artist of Ukraine Gennadiy Fortus, curator - Honored Artist of Ukraine Lubov Frigan) decided to celebrate their graduation.30 April students of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology ZNU training areas "Theatre Arts" prepared a festive concert on the occasion of 68 anniversary of the Victory over the Nazi invaders.

On 23 of March on scene of RC “Kirov” took place the premiere of the New Theater in Zaporizhzhya - the melodrama according to Leonard Gersh "Such free butterflies". This play became considerable creative achievement for all staff of New Theater and the noticeable work for our higher education institution as among actors there are representatives of social pedagogy and psychology faculty.
Today, traditionally the New Year's celebration for ZNU children of employees and students was held at Drobyazko Hall (8th Academic building). Celebration's organizers - ZNU Administration, Trade union committee and the Acting department of SPP Faculty.
May 24, Dnipropetrovsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, award ceremony was held for the winners of 20th Anniversary Festival. Higher Dramatic Arts Prydniprovia Award - ‘Sicheslavna-2012’ is conferred to stage professionals, whereas ‘Sicheslavna’s Hope’ is intended for creative young dramatic professionals. The jury panel has determined 35 contest winners. This year about 20 theatres, along with 9 from Dnipropetrovsk, 5 from Zaporizhzhya, 3 from Kryvyi Rih and 2 from Dniprodzerzhinsk and Pavlograd were trying their chances for victory.
