In early July, an international conference on reforms in Ukraine began in Toronto (Canada).  Within the framework of the conference, the “Ukrainian House” is a unique platform where, in order to broaden the interest of Canadian businessmen in Ukraine, our country’s achievements in various fields are presented.

On July 1, the registration of electronic cabinets of applicants started in Ukraine.  Zaporizhzhia National University is making every effort to help future students overcome all stages of the admission campaign. In particular, today everyone can turn to specialists who will not only provide expert advice on all matters related to the course of entry into higher education institutions, but also help in creating an electronic cabinet.

From June 28 to July 7, the “Summer School of Young Journalists” was held on the basis of Zaporizhzhia National University, organized jointly by ZNU, German NGO Interlink Academy and Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and within the framework of the Eastern Partnership program with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

Single professional entrance exam for admission to magistracy on the specialty "Law" has been held on the basis of ZNU on July 4. The exam was held in the form of EIE and was attended by 180 people who want to study in magistracy on the specialty 081 "Law".

On July 3, the first graduation of bachelors of the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University took place in a solemn atmosphere in the conference hall of Engineering Institute.

Recently, a solemn graduation ceremony for junior specialists "Step into a happy future" for students of the College of Economics and Law has been held in Zaporizhzhia Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre of V. Magara.  On the theater stage, 187 graduates received diplomas that they were awarded by the rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov, college director Olena Hrybanova, as well as representatives of various departments of ZNU, where most university graduates plan to continue their studies on September 1st.

The uniRank web portal, which represents the non-academic ranking of higher education institutions in the world, based on the popularity of their official websites, has published the Ukrainian university ranking for 2019. According to this rating, Zaporizhzhia National University this year took the 20th place. Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University took 44th place, National University "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic" (Zaporizhzhia National Technical University) got 48th place, Zaporizhzhia State Medical University took 63rd place, and Berdyansk State Pedagogical University got 68th place.

On July 3, Zaporizhzhia National University began another important stage for applying for the Master’s degree. From today and until July 31, applicants for specialties for which they do not need to pass EIE can submit applications and documents to the admission board, which works under the guidance of Executive Secretary Maryna Tomchenko.

On July 2, there was conducted the single entrance exam in a foreign language on the basis of Zaporizhzhia National University, which was held in the form of EIE (ZNO). It should be noted that the university has traditionally been the base of the EIE and actively cooperates with Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Educational Quality Assessment. That is why ZNU became one of 4 points in Zaporizhzhia for carrying out a foreign language SEE.

Admission of documents has begun in the Zaporizhzhia Metallurgical College of Zaporizhzhia National University on July 1.
