September 8 in Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University held intellectual quiz for students called "Experts in Olympic sport".
In our city before the Movie's Day started XVI Ukrainian national cinema festival "Zaporizhzhya synerama". This year's festival will include V (Jubilee) contest for young film, in which wished to participate about 60 young filmmakers from different cities of Ukraine. Evaluate the films of young directors will be known Ukrainian filmmakers, artists, theater personalities and assistant professors of Acting Department of Zaporizhzhya National University, Honoured Artist of Ukraine Viktor Honcharov and Honored Artist of Ukraine Hennadii Fortus.
At the European Championship in athletics among paralympics, held from 18th to 23rd August 2014 in Swansea (UK), ZNU Master student Mariia Pomazan was the winner of the gold medal and set another world record.
In Knowledge Day great hall plant catering ZNU "Tatiana Day" resumed its work after the repair. Normally attend university canteen not only staff and students of our university, but employees located near businesses and organizations. So visitors have already evaluated the changes that have occurred as a result of organized administrative and economic part of ZNU and conducted by the staff of the department and team of contractors repair and modernization.
Initiated by the university Rector, professor Mykola Frolov at Zaporizhzhya National University resumed somewhat forgotten in recent times the practice of building groups. This form of work is beneficial for students who have the opportunity to earn additional money during the holidays and for the university, which thus saving budget. Working for the good of university students not only receive a salary, but free living in a hostel and had lunch in the university cafe.
From 24th to 31st August was held World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam. Ukrainian team, to which joined graduate of ZNU Oleksandr Nadtoka, won a gold award and set a world record.
Today in Zaporizhzhya National University celebrated the day of knowledge and dedication to freshmen students. This year a large university family joined nearly 3000 students, 300 of them came to us from Lugansk, Donetsk regions and Crimea. Congratulate freshmen came representatives of the administration of ZNU and our city, Heads of Faculties, teachers and students.
