October 8th in honor of their professional holiday - Lawyers Day in Ukraine - near the 5th academic building of Zaporizhzhya National University organized a festive musical break. The event prepared and conducted activists of the Students' Council of the Faculty with the support of the Faculty of Law administration.
October 8 within the framework of his visit to Zaporizhzhia, Mayor of Lviv Andrii Sadovyi visited Zaporizhzhya National University, where he met with students and talked about reforms in the city, outlined his vision of economic, political and military situation in Ukraine.
4th year students of the Biological Faculty Olena Popazova (specialization "Biochemistry and Immunology"), Maryna Sokulska and Yuliia Bulankina (specialization "Ichthyology") recently returned from Bulgaria. Due to international educational program "Erasmus Mundus ELECTRA", our students during the past academic year studying in the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (Sofia) at the Department of Biotechnology.
October 7 at the Faculty of Economics was held regular scientific workshop for school teachers in economics. It was devoted to the preparation of research students, members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to participate in All-Ukrainian contest-defense and the use of innovative educational technologies in the educational process.
From October 4 Zaporizhzhia National University hosts an honorary research fellow of the Law Faculty, the University of Liverpool (Great Britain), Kiron Reid. He was invited by the administration of our university for teaching at the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Foreign Languages to help implement the new Concept of learning foreign languages.
Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of Zaporizhzhya National University became the laureates and winners of the All-Ukrainian contest of students' research papers "Sustainable Development with the participation of local communities" as a part of the 2nd phase of the joint EU / UNDP Project "Local Development of CBA".
Team of Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University won the regional games of mini-football among students of higher educational institutions of I-II accreditation levels.
At the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University ongoing events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the beginning of training lawyers on the basis of our university. In addition to numerous scientific meetings dedicated to this date, the management of the Faculty decided to arrange a meeting with students known by the legal industry and conduct excursions for future lawyers in the internal affairs and other institutions whose activities are related to the branch of law.
In ZNU finished interfaculty chess competition among boys and girls which passed under the Sports days 2014. They are organized by the administration of sports and recreation complex of ZNU and Department of Physical Education.
