The first gold medal of the 2013 World Universiade won Zaporizhzhya National University athletes, students of SK "Metalurg" Olesya Povh and Mariya Remen.
Honored Masters of Sports of Ukraine Maria Remen and Olesya Povh in the 4x100 relay won first place with Nataliya Pogrebnyak and Viktoriya 
Pyatachenko. With the result of 42.77 girls were Universiade gold medalist. Second place with the result of 43.54 won U.S. team and third place with the result of 43.81 - the athletes from Poland.
It should be noted that in this composition athletes took part in the competition for the first time - and immediately the best result.
This is not the first award of champions Maria and Olesya. They have a bronze of Olympic Games and World Championships and three European championships gold medals.
