The Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov discussed current issues with students of our university

May 16 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held the regular meeting of the Rector Mykola Frolov with representatives of our university student activists headed by the chairman of the Students' Council Olha Lebedeva. The event was also attended by Vice-Rector for Educational Research and Academic Affairs Oleksandr Hura, Rector’s Assistant on Educational Work Nataliya Voronova, Acting Rector's Assistant for Public Relations and Media Galina Mykytiv and the Head of the Educational Work Department Svitlana Kondratenko.

The meeting was held in the format of the dialogue between the University and representatives of our university students. ZNU Faculties Students' Council Heads already prepared a list of questions, which today are the most relevant.
the Rector Mykola Frolov answered a number of questions related to the social sector. So, he informed the meeting that has already been done indexing scholarships. Mykola Frolov also sounded a positive attitude of the university administration on those senior students who combine study with full-time work in the specialty. In addition, through the process of upgrading from 1 September ZNU students will have access to electronic versions of the lectures of all teachers of our university, which should facilitate the education process.
Also during the meeting Mykola Frolov shared with students plans for campus beautification and maintenance of educational buildings of our university, explained his position on the proposals relating to minor repairs and life of students. The Rector also noted that ZNU realized in practice the slogan "University - for students". However, this is not just creating a comfortable environment for study and recreation of students, but also involves their maturity and responsibility in relation to the learning process and in the preservation of university property.
At the end of the meeting Mykola Frolov expressed the hope that all Faculties have a fruitful relationship between the Deans and student activists. He also called student representatives to handle their problems and important issues to him personally or to his Deputies.
