From 1 July of this year at the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University launched the project "On the other side of the Dnieper": influence of controversial images "Of other Ukrainians on the formation of mental boundaries", which will be sold worldwide efforts of teachers in the Department of History and International Relations and the Department of Source Studies and Historiography and auxiliary historical disciplines.
The project is funded and supported by the scientific community of Zaporizhzhya named after Ya.P. Nowicki and the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
Aim of the project is to attract students to identify the perception of the "other Ukrainian," the influence of this perception on the further political development of Ukraine; create a positive attitude towards pluralism as one of the basic principles of a democratic society.
Throughout July and August of this year students of the Faculty of History will be conducted surveys on the "oral history" as part of an oral history of the expedition.
