In ZNU opened sports hall of martial arts and tourist training

September 19 in sports and recreation complex of Zaporizhzhya National University was solemnly opened sports hall of martial arts and tourist training. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education Mykola Malikov, teachers and students, as well as special guests of the event: Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration Valerii Baranov, Head of the affairs administration of plant "Zaporizhstal", Head of the youth organization of the enterprise Serhiy Ilchenko and the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov.

During the opening of the sports hall Head of ZRSA Valerii Baranov noted that this event - a vivid example of successful cooperation of the regional administration, business and education to develop the physical health of young people and to encourage students to study Cossack traditions of our region. He thanked to teacher of the Department of Theoretical Foundations of Physical Education and Sport of ZNU, the president of the Cossack martial arts "Spas" Oleksandr Prytula for showing initiative and enthusiasm, and - management plant "Zaporizhstal" support this sports project.
The Rector of ZNU, professor Mykola Frolov noted, that our university provides for the development of the material basis and tries to do everything in order to encourage students to play sports. Mykola Oleksandrovych said that it is particularly important that the hall repaired by the students: summer here working members of the building unit, which consisted of representatives of the Faculty of Physical Education. Furthermore, Mykola Frolov noted that in social networks students are actively discussing the event and expressed satisfaction that now can play sports in the modernized premises.
