At the Faculty of Law ongoing introduction of modern innovative methods of teaching disciplines of public law series
November 26 with the participation of students of Magistracy organized case (the modern form of the workshops, which are widely used in leading European and American Universities), dedicated to public-private partnership (PPP). As a concrete situation was chosen real PPP project, which is currently at an early stage of implementation in Zaporizhzhya - "Reconstruction and refurbishment of Zaporizhzhya City Hospital #3".
Students were divided into four groups representing the interests of the public partner (represented Zaporizhzhya City Council), the private partner, doctors and their lawyers and the public. During the debate and discuss possible ways to implement the project, students have mastered the necessary knowledge on regulatory support PPP stages of its implementation and the tender process, the contract concession negotiation tactics, identify potential and actual risks, threats or benefits for the parties partnerships, etc.
We should also note that the specified measure was implemented with technical support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and non-profit international organization «fhi360» within the framework of the development to public-private partnership for the leadership of the Faculty sincerely grateful and hope these entities for further cooperation.
