Holiday of English phonetics combined freshmen and 3rd year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages
November 28 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages was held a regular holiday of English phonetics, which traditionally prepare 3rd year students within the discipline "Theoretical Phonetics". The event is for first-year students of the Faculty who teach the subject "Practical Phonetics".
As a part of the phonetics evening, 3rd year students organized and informative program, in which told freshmen on different varieties of English, and especially their pronunciation, demonstrated the importance of correct English pronunciation in the modern world, and discovered the secret of its improvements. In addition, students held a series of contests that have contributed to review and consolidate knowledge. Event was held in light and relaxed atmosphere.
