Students-managers celebrated holiday of logistics Supply Chain Day

April 16, students of the aculty of Managment of speciality "Logistics" joined to the professional logistics holidays "Supply Chain Day", held in European countries every third Thursday of April on the initiative ofthe European Logistics Association. In the framework of the events dedicated to this event was held a round table "Potential logistics of Zaporozhzhya region."

The event was organized by the teachers of the Department of Management of Organizations and Logistics Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate professor Serhii Bohdanov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate professor Dmytro Antoniuk, Candidate of Economic Sciences, senior lecturer Artem Suchkov. At the beginning of the event Deputy Head of the Department of Management of Organizations and Logistics Liudmyla Bukharina welcomed the participants of the roundtable and emphasized the importance popularization of logistics as a science and implementation of logistics management in modern market infrastructure. The 4th year student Anastasiia Bakuta provided the information about the activities of the European Logistics Association.
At the meeting of the roundtable visited Head of Transport Department of "Zaporizhzhya Titanium-Magnesium Plant" Volodymyr Solianyi. The representative of the plant told about the practical aspects of logistics activities in the workplace, also raised the problem of technical knowledge, Manager Logistics , discussed the possibility of employment in the specialty.
All the participants of the discussion received not only the important knowledge but also a good mood and motivation for further learning and development in the field of logistics. The Faculty planning to expand the list and the form o the events within a framework of celebration "Supply Chain Day".
