In Zaporizhzhya National University took place the traditional New Year reception for school graduates by the rector of the University. Its organizers became the Faculty of Preliminary Preparation of ZNU on head with its dean, associate professor Irina Bakalenko.
In the hall of the 2-nd building the fairy atmosphere prevailed, because even Father Frost and Sniguron’ka visited this party. The organizers took care of creating holiday mood: fantastic waterfalls, wonderful flowers, multicolor baloons, lights, glittering on the beautiful fir. Party greetings from the Faculty of Preliminary Preparation on postcards only improved the mood.
New Year ball opened with "Waltz of flowers", danced by the students of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology.
Father Frost and Sniguron’ka 
told school graduates about students’ Father Frost – the rector of the University Sergij Timchenko. From his name his associate on educative work Olexandr Bondar greeted children. And in order not to let them lose their heads from diversity of specialities offered by our university, Sniguron’ka invited the dean of the Faculty of Preliminary Preparation Irina Bakalenko.
After the "official" part of the holiday came performances by the members of the club of the merry and quick-witted, dance and song numbers by university musical groups, lyrical compositions, choreographic and sports performances and many others. Then the guests had an opportunity to take part in exiting and tricky contests. At the end all willing had an opportunity to rest on wonderful discotheque.
The school graduates were pleasantly wondered by the vivid, color and interesting special issue of the regional academic newspaper "Zaporizhzhya University". There they read new-year greetings of the rector, deans and the students of different faculties, and besides got a lot of useful information about the faculties, about the opportunities of preparation and admission to ZNU.
