Was born on August 4, 1973 in the village of Novogupalivka, Vilnia district, Zaporizhzhia region, Zaporizhzhia.
In 1996 graduated from the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhia State University (ZSU, now Zaporizhzhia National University) with a degree in History of Ukraine, qualification: "historian, teacher of history and social sciences" and with a degree in "Political Science", qualification "political scientist".
1997-2000 - full-time postgraduate study at ZSU. In 2000 he defended his dissertation on the history of Ukraine on the topic 07.00.01 - History of Ukraine; "Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression in Ukraine 1953-1964" in the specialized scientific council at ZSU.
2006-2009 - full-time doctoral studies at the National Pedagogical Drahomanov University (Kyiv). In 2013 received the academic title of Associate Professor.
In 2012 defended his doctoral dissertation on political science on "Sources of legitimacy of political power in the context of interaction between the state and civil society" in the specialty 23.00.02 - Political institutions and processes in the specialized scientific council at National Pedagogical Drahomanov University (Kyiv).
Since 2000 he has been working at the Faculty of Sociology and Public Management in the following positions: senior lecturer, Associate Professor, Professor, Head of the Department of Political Science of ZNU.
Author of more than 60 scientific papers.
