Was born on April 15, 1958 in the village of Sokyryntsi, Sribnyansky district, Chernihiv region. She studied at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University. Ph.D. of Philosophical Sciences (1990), Doctor of Political Sciences (2008) Theme of the doctoral dissertation "Political determinants of sustainable development of modern Ukrainian society". Corresponding Member of the Ukrainian Academy of Political Sciences.
He has 170 publications, including 4 monographs (2 of them collective), 6 textbooks (co-authored), 4 textbooks (2 co-authored), 2 textbooks (co-authored). Research interests - problems of war and peace, political conflicts, sustainable development of society, modernization of the political system of Ukraine.
