Biography

Maksyshko N.K. has 2 higher education degrees: In 1981, she graduated with honours from Zaporizhzhia State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Mathematics and Physics, and in 1999, she graduated from Zaporizhzhia State University with a degree in Accounting and Auditing. Since 1983, she has been working at Zaporizhzhia National University (at that time – Zaporizhzhia State Pedagogical Institute), starting as an assistant at the Department of Mathematics. 1989-1990 - postgraduate student at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (Kyiv), in 1990 she defended her PhD thesis in the speciality 01.05.02 - "Mathematical Modelling and Computational Methods" on a theme " Development and Research of the Decision Algorithms for Some Classes of Discrete Multicriteria Problems" (supervisor – Academician I.V. Sergienko): 1990-1991 – Lecturer, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematical Methods in Economics; 1991-1996 – Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical Methods in Economics; since 1996 – Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Economic Cybernetics. In 2010, she defended her doctoral dissertation on "Analysis and Forecasting of Economic Systems Development by Methods of Discrete Nonlinear Dynamics" in the speciality 8.00.11 – "Mathematical Methods, Models and Information Technologies in Economics". 1994 – received the academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Methods in Economics, 2012 – received the academic title of Professor at the Department of Economic Cybernetics. Since 2010 – Head of the Department of Economic Cybernetics, Professor.

Scientific work

Research interests: discrete mathematics and its application in economic and mathematical modelling and information technology, discrete nonlinear dynamics, vector optimisation, data mining methods. Work experience, developments: Maksyshko N.K. has more than 300 scientific works, including 8 monographs, 10 textbooks and 39 methodological publications. Under the scientific supervision of Prof. Maksyshko N.K., 1 Doctor of Economics dissertation (2023) and 5 PhD dissertations in economics and physics and mathematics were defended. Member of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, member of the editorial board of the professional publication " Financial Strategies of Innovative Economic Development. " (formerly "Bulletin of Zaporizhzhia National University. Economic Sciences"). From 2000 to 2015, she was a member of the Economic Cybernetics Section of the Scientific and Methodological Commission on Economics and Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, from 2016 to 2019, she was a member of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the Economics Section, and since 2022, she has been an expert in the competition for the selection of projects funded by the grant support of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and the European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation "Horizon 2020". Prof. Maksyshko N.K. is a member of the Programme Committees of international and national scientific conferences, forums, student competitions of scientific works and Olympiads. Scientific adviser of the research project "Modelling of complex socio-economic systems by methods of discrete nonlinear dynamics and data mining" (state registration number 0115U006765, 2016-2020), participates in the research project "Intelligent methods of finding suboptimal solutions to applied discrete optimisation problems" (state registration number 0120U000375, 2021-2024). Experience in the field of economic and mathematical modelling, development and implementation of information technologies in the real economy: substantiation of the agricultural machinery fleet (NIKTIMselkhozmash); modeling of rational land use (with the Regional Research Agricultural Station); development of mathematical methods and software to assess the effectiveness of new technology (VIT); development and implementation of construction planning systems (ZDSK); development and implementation of information technologies in the banking sector, implementation of the national project "Electronic Money" (1989-94); development, implementation and maintenance of computer systems for resource management in the region (systems "Finance", "Land", "Rent", etc.) and management of free economic zones ("Department" – "Dean's Office" – "Rectorate"); participation in the development of the Draft Strategy of economic and social development of Zaporizhzhia region for 2004-2015. development of mathematical software for flow analysis and evaluation of economic efficiency of investment Internet projects; application of mathematical modeling to analyze the processes of self-organization in the municipal economy, development of information support and tools for modeling the processes of digital transformation in socio-ecological and economic systems (united territorial communities, associations of co-owners of multi-storey buildings, etc.). Prof. Maksyshko N.K. provides scientific advice to enterprises, institutions and organisations (in particular, PROCOM LLC and JSCB INDUSTRIALBANK).
