Recently, a working meeting has been held between professors of the San Mart-Shavan (France) educational complex and representatives of the university administration within the framework of the visit of the French delegation to ZNU. During this communication, professors from both countries had the chance to learn and know more about the specifics of the activities of both institutions of higher education. They also determined the direction of further cooperation at the level of student exchange and the participation of scientific and pedagogical workers in joint scientific projects, and etc.

Among the participants of the meeting were present: rector Mykola Frolov, first vice rector Oleksandr Bondar, vice rector for scientific work Hennadii Vasylchuk and the dean of the Faculty of Economics Alla Cherep. French university was represented by Sebastien Boutena, a professor of accounting, financial management, social law, Jean Erik Rouge, a professor of accounting, management, the tax system of small and medium-sized businesses, and a professor of foreign languages, Jeanne Charbonel.

While Mykola Frolov was presenting the achievements of ZNU, he said: “We are interested in developing cooperation with the French university, as it opens new prospects for the joint growth of both our higher education institutions as well as for the economic field of the regions they represent”.

The rector briefly told the guests about the structure of the university and the faculty, pointing out the number of students; there are about 12,000 students in all divisions for today.

The representatives of our university did not also forget to talk about the developments of the economic faculty in the field of science, cooperation with other Ukrainian and foreign universities.

Alla Cherep noted that the number of specialties and departments is constantly growing at the faculty.  It provides us wide opportunities not only for academic mobility of students and professors, but also will be useful in the future - for obtaining a double diploma both for students of ZNU and students of foreign universities who will study on the basis of our university.

The administration of ZNU and the Faculty of Economics consider that this area of cooperation is one of the most perspective.  They were also interested in representatives of the educational complex of San Mart-Shavan.  The guests were quite interested in the specifics of the organization of the educational process in ZNU and in other educational institutions, in organizing the economic activities of enterprises of Zaporizhzhia region, and also the possibility of French students to have a practice here as part of developing academic mobility (more information can be found by the link): https://www.znu.edu.ua/cms/index.php?action=news/view_details&news_id=44416&lang=ukr&news_code=na-ekonomfakulteti-vidbudetsya-zasidannya-kruglogo-stolu--tera  - nauki-i-biznesu --- za-uchastyu-chislennoyi-delegatsiyi-iz-frantsuzkogo-m-angulem-u-skladi-15-osib).

Moreover, the participants paid a lot of attention to the prospects of Ukrainian and French cooperation in the field of creating and implementing joint projects.  The grant programs of the European Union in the field of education, research and innovation: the Erasmus + student, professor and academic exchanges program, the financing of perspective and applied scientific research HORIZON 2020 and others are considered to be the most promising.

There were also discussed other details of further cooperation between our universities.
