There was the international exam in English on the Faculty of Foreign Philology where about 50 people took part
On December 15, the international exam PTE (Pearson Test of English) took place on the basis of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Zaporizhzhia National University, which is recognized by many countries of the world. This test confirms the level of English. It is indefinite, that is, having made it once, a person forever testifies to his level of proficiency in a language.
The event was held thanks to the assistance of the rector of Zaporizhzhia National University - professor Mykola Frolov and the long-term cooperation of the team of the Faculty of Foreign Philology (Dean - associate professor Halyna Moroshkina) with the Linguistic center "Eurobook" (Director - Associate Svitlana Nikonenko). About 50 people aged from 10 to 50 years passed the exam, confirming their level of proficiency from basic to advanced (C1). It should be noted that this time experts and specialists from the Faculty of Foreign Philology such as associate professor Iryna Andrieieva and associate professor Kateryna Vasylyna, who previously received the C2-level Pearson Test of English certificate and were recruited for the evaluation and assessment of the oral part of the exam experts.
At the faculty of Foreign Philology, they said that among the prospects of this level of work is further fruitful cooperation and interesting experience in the field of popularization of the English language among various strata of the population.
