The purpose of the activity of the ZNU Young Scientists Council of is to promote the realization of the intellectual potential of young scientists in terms of the development of scientific, educational and innovative activities of the Zaporizhzhia National University, to ensure their active participation in conducting scientific research and to protect their rights and interests as scientists.

The main tasks of the ZNU Young Scientists Council:

• promotion of interaction between the management body of the University and young scientists;
• preparation of proposals for the creation of socio-economic conditions for attracting young scientists to work in scientific fields, stimulating their professional activity;
• consultative support of young scientists regarding the implementation of scientific activities, cooperation with foreign customers of scientific products, etc.;
• promoting the involvement of young scientists in participation in competitions of scientific works, the formation of teams of young scientists for the implementation of promising scientific projects and grants;
• support of young scientists in carrying out scientific and educational activities;
• dissemination of information on scientific events and achievements of young scientists of the university, popularization of scientific activity among students and young university scientists;
• promoting the development and improvement of the scientific sphere of Ukraine and its integration into the European and world research space.
