Tomorrow, on 29th of December, in Zaporizhzhya National University held a concert for all employees of the university. With the support of the Rectorate, University administration and its Primary Trade Union Organization prepared future actors of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology and their teachers and members of the Educational Theatre of ZNU.
At the Ukrainian-Swiss Center "English for kids", that working on the basis of Foreign Languages Study Center of Zaporizhzhya National University, recently held a festive Christmas evening. Young listeners on this day visiting classes in costumes of queens, pirates and even monkeys. At the event were attended by special guests: Vice-Rector for Science and Research Hennadii Vasylchuk, Director of the Foreign Languages Study Center Natalia Kostenko, teachers Marharyta Havryliuk and Rashel Faria.
Because of the technical circumstances several weeks before the end of the year in educational buildings and hostels of Zaporizhzhya National University going on the staged replacement of old for new telephone numbers. Works on connecting of new numbers hold employees of Maintenance and Supply of ZNU, and will continue after the New Year's holidays.
It was such a report was presented during a meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Journalism of ZNU the Dean, Professor Volodymyr Manakin. In particular, he noted that the quality of journalism training future staff needs to improve fundamental theoretical knowledge basis; deepen and broaden the worldview of mass media specialists areas; education of moral responsibility in professional activities; as close to actual conditions, i.e. the formation of the necessary practical skills that are relevant to the current needs of the different forms of journalism. As for the latter gain practical component in the training of future journalists is an important task in view of the successful employment of graduates in the specialty.
On December 24 at the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Zaporizhzhya National University for the eighth time held a traditional scientific event - inter-university student conference "Christmas readings". This year to discuss topical issues of learning foreign languages, literature, translation and teaching methodology in schools have expressed a desire about 200 students and high school students in our region.
Today begins the first stage of choosing subjects of our university students in 2016-2017 academic year. From 25 December 2015 to 15 February 2016 first-year students will choose the first two courses for educational curricula of Bachelor cycle of humanitarian and socio-economic training.
At the faculty of social pedagogics and psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University meets regularly «English speaking club». The meetings are held under the constant guidance of Associate Professor of Pedagogics and Psychology Department Natalia Mosol educational activities. On December 25 its meeting invited volunteer David Mckitryk. During a meeting with its club members discussed the traditions, the culture and mentality of different peoples.
On December 24 at the Economics Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University held opening ceremony of the Christmas tree. The festival, organized by the Students' Council, visited Dean Alla Cherep, teachers and students.
