This year by good tradition trade-union committee of ZNU pleased all members with the numerous gifts and surprises. Children of our teachers, employees, students, post-graduate students were lucky most of all. Each of them has received a sweet gift “Christmas”, tickets for the New Year’s tree party to culture center “Dniprospetsstal”, tickets for cartoon film “Christmas fairy tale Anabel” to the cinema “Dovzhenko”. Special surprise was an opportunity to visit New Year’s show “the Water enchanting spectacle” in Zaporizhzhya circus.

Active students of the Faculty of Law have organized the presentation of the magazine “Student-lawyer” in Ukrainian. This edition was founded by the Ukrainian League of Students which is the part of the Association of lawyers of Ukraine. Presented magazine is the first periodical in Ukraine for future lawyers.

The third year on the basis of the Faculty of Law of Zaporizhyzhya National University Zaporizhyzhya department of the Student’s League of Ukrainian Association of legislators is working. This year law activity of its members was declared the best among all branches of the League at the third open meeting of its representatives.

Action in such original format at our university is spent for the first time. But organizers: student’s board, the department of educational work and student’s culture centre, trade-union committee, - are sure that it will become a good tradition. As for this “test” it was on December, 23rd in the disco-club “Tatyana’s day”.

On December, 19th at the Faculty of Foreign Philology the Christmas dramatized show took place. It has been prepared by the fourth year students of English department. Such New Year’s performances already became a tradition at the Faculty.

At Zaporizhzhya National University the long-term action “the Faculty of Law - to children-orphans” proceeds. This time the future lawyers have decided to involve in noble action representatives of other faculties, having arranged on the eve of St. Nicholas day a charitable concert and invited everyone who wishes to make a holiday surprise to pupils of the boarding school №3 and children’s home “Sun”.

The command of the Faculty of Journalism has appeared on a level above the contenders in competitions on badminton which passed within the limits of ZNU Games.

At the Faculty of Economics of Zaporizhizhya National University the charitable action “Help children-orphans” lasted during November. The initiator of its carrying out became student’s board of the faculty.

At the Faculty of Physical Training the round-table discussion has passed “Actual problems of rehabilitation and ways of their solution”. The organizer of the action was Scientific student’s association of the faculty.
