Conference “Literature and history”
Traditional scientific conference “Literature and history”, arranged by the philological faculty Zaporizkogo national university, gathered lecturers and students from different regions of Ukraine. Some of them called at our university not for the first time, in order to discuss problems interlinks between history and literature. The person who originated researches of this branch of science in our university was the doctor of philological sciences, the head of the chair of theory of literature and journalism of the faculty of journalism, professor Vitaly Shevchenko.

On October, 9 on the Soviet square the rally, dedicated to liberation of Zaporizhzhya from german-fashist invaders passed. To take part in the action representatives of October district administration, mass media, veterans, students and schoolchildren came.
