On October 26 there was the 11th seminar-training for secondary schools teachers at the Department of Foreign Languages.
The Let Us Introduce Ourselves Contest is being held in ZNU. The freshmen show their talents to the students and faculty.
The 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference «Transformational Processes in Economics of State and Regions» was opened in ZNU. 93 scientists from different regions of Ukraine, Russian Federation, Belarus and Poland participate in it.
According to the results of the zonal selecting round of the Oblast Youth Festival o the Variety Art Zopepad-2011 the ZNU students are among the winners and laureates. 
The new course of preparation to school has started being taught in September at the ZNU's Center English for Kids. It is aimed at the five-six-years-old children. The kids study the basics of mathematics, logic thinking, and develop their talking skills and memory.
