October 3 at the Philological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University was solemnly opening of All-Ukrainian conference "Zaporizhzhya in the humanitarian discourse". Proposed to study and discuss the topic interested scientists from many leading national universities: the event was attended by representatives of higher education institutions from Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kryvyi Rih, Lugansk, Melitopol, Odessa and more.

October 3 within the framework of All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Ukrainian national education: realities, trends and prospects" at the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University held a roundtable on "Legislative provision of national education".

October 3-4 at Zaporizhzhya National University held opening ceremony and plenary session of the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Ukrainian national education: realities, trends and prospects". Event organizers - Zaporizhzhya National University, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Yaroslav Mudry International Educational Foundation and the Faculty of Journalism of ZNU. Informational Sponsors of the event were newspapers "Day" and "Voice of Ukraine".

October 2 on Biological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University held a roundtable discussion on the topic "Creating an environmentally healthy model of life of 3rd millennium, the man and his environment".
The purpose of the meeting was an attempt to consider the interaction between man and nature, direction and production of scientific thought to create an environmentally healthy future for our planet, an analysis of the historical forms of human life. In the future, these issues will allow to formulate principles and find systemic solutions of harmonious society development, taking into account environmental, social and economic aspects of human civilization.

Defense took place on September 30, 2013 in Kiev National University on the specialty 07.00.01 - History of Ukraine. Scientific advisor - professor of ZNU Gennadiy Vasylchuk.

Volunteering and Charitable activity is an integral part of the Center of cultural and mass work and of the student government of Zaporizhzhya National University. Representatives from of all faculties social sectors of the University carried out concerts in orphanages, assisting in gathering things for specialized child care centers, actively participate in charity auctions. According to the Deputy Deans of the educational work, the total number of volunteers at the university now stands 21,203 persons.

Traditionally September puts many questions to future school graduates and their parents. Give the answers to many of these questions tried the staff of ZNU Preparatory Department. So, in September they attended parents meeting in 10th-11th forms of Zaporizhzhya schools.

October 2 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Zaporizhzhya National University held presentation of the Youth Center of German Culture "Zammelzuryum." During the meeting, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the center and join its work.
