Every year, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announces a competitive selection of scientific and technical (experimental) development by the state order, the implementation of which is carried out at the expense of the state budget. Projects in priority areas for the development of science and technology are submitted to the competition.
A competition has begun in ZNU and all interested representatives of the university can offer their own ideas for creating its logo
On November 19, rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov signed the order number 432 to announce the competition to create the logo of Zaporizhzhia National University. It should be noted that since the beginning of the new educational year, the process of re-branding an educational institution has been actively continuing in the university. The ZNU project "Familiar strangers" received a certificate for 20 000 UAH as a winner of the contest "We are a city"
According to the words of Yurii Kahanov, the vice-rector for science and pedagogical work, the university gave a proposition to realize the project “Familiar strangers” (No. 117 in the list of competitive works-social initiatives “We are a city”), which includes establishment of panels with QR-codes next to the trees which are growing on the territory of Zaporizhzhia national university as many of them are quite rare and brought from others continents.

Student of the Faculty of Law Oleg Pelipenko was trained on the basis of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine
Oleg Pelipenko, a 4th year student at ZNU Faculty of Law, became a finalist of the All-Ukrainian Competition for Gifted Youth with an active civic position "The State Creator". Thanks to this competition, organized by the USID Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine and the Leadership Academy, 100 best participants from all regions of our country were given an opportunity to take internships in central executive bodies and listen to lectures from well-known politicians and public figures.
