December 26, the roundtable in topic “Myths of Ecology” took place in Zaporizhzhya national university.

Today ZNU Biology Faculty attended schools in Zaporizhzhya. Methodological and educational seminars which is held by our lecturers become a tradition.

November, 28 the biologists of ZNU held traditional competition-olympiad “The best expert of landscape design”.

According to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine decree №1076 of 05.10.2012 "About the Nationwide Competition of students' scientific works of natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in 2012/2013 academic years" ZNU for the second year assigned to be the base for holding the second round of the Competition in the direction "Natural Sciences".

ZNU Faculty of Biology began to prepare in advance for the Entrant’s Day.

Today another seminar for biology and chemistry teachers from Zaporizhzhyan region was held at ZNU Faculty of Biology. Senior lecturer from the Department of Didactics and Methods of Teaching Natural and Mathematical Courses (Regional Institute for Postgraduate Pedagogic Education) S. Dekhtiarenko highlighted the issues of the didactic learning process on natural sciences and the importance of interaction between teachers and scholars aimed at achieving mutual goal – shaping school students’ personality ready for all challenges of modern society.

August 29, The training lectures for teachers, methodists and directors of methodical associations in Zaporizhian Region of the natural science was carried in the ZNU Faculty of Biology. This meeting was organized in conjunction with Zaporizhzhya Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education. The goals of the seminars are teacher training and vocational guidance work in order to popularize the ZNU Faculty of Biology among school students.
