Recently All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practice Conference on “Students Self-government: experience, problems and development prospects” was held at Zaporizhzhya State Engineering Academy (ZSEA). The event was organised by the Committee for Family and Youth Affairs of Municipal Council, All-Ukrainian Students Council under the Ministry of Education and Science and ZSEA Students Scientific Society. Among the participants were also representatives of UPSSS (ZNU).

April, 27-28 Zaporizhzhya Jewish Readings 2012,  a traditional open All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practice Conference is currently held at Zaporizhzhya National University.  The event is organised by ZNU and All-Ukrainian Centre for Holocaust Studies ‘Tkuma’ (‘Revival’). The readings gathered together professors-historians, linguists and philosophers across the pace-setting national higher education institutions, school teachers and everyone engaged with the subject

April, 19 online conference was carried out with ZNU Faculty of Journalism and students of Bluffton University (Ohio, U.S.A.)

April, 10-11 small group meeting took place at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology within the framework of Youth Science 2012

April, 12 theme group session was held at the Faculty of Foreign Philology under the auspices of Youth Conference 2012

Seven small group sessions were held at the Faculty of History.

The jubilee 5^th Research Conference on Foreign Philology in the 21st Century which was taking place at the Faculty of Philology on April 6-7, has successfully confirmed its international status. To discuss current issues in Linguistics and Literary Studies the scholars from Kyiv, Lviv, Uzhgorod, Odesa, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zhytomyr and other Ukrainian cities have arrived in ZNU. Besides, the scientific meeting was also visited by the scholars from Belgium, Bulgaria, etc.
