Zaporizhzhya National University held pres-conference with the winners of V World Championship in traditional wushu (Huanshan city,China) – student of the 4th course of Economics Faculty of ZNU Myroslava Mala and trainer-teacher of Zaporizhzhyan CYSS №10 Maxim Danchenko – with correspondents of local media.

September 31, the festive line-up dedicated to the first-year students took place within the Faculty of Economics at ZNU (5-th educational building).  
After the welcoming speech and aquantance with the deans and lecturers of the Faculty of Economy, Aleksey Melnikov, Ilya Sergunov, Maksim Zubko, Bogdan Semenov, Artem Zelensky, Egor Ishenko and Denis Chirchenko were invited to be awarded for the first place at the University Basketball Spartakiada 2011-2012. 
The dean of the Faculty of Economics, professor Alla Cherep congratulated the faculty's team on the competitions victory and handed the cup wishing future victories.

On the eve of Victory Day celebrations the 4^th Basketball Championship was held between student basketball teams, with participation of teams from ZNU, Sumy State University, Chornomorskyi Petro Mohyla State University (Mykolaiv) and Chernivtsi Trade and Economics Institute of Kyiv National Trade and Economics University.

Basketball teams from Petro Mohyla State University (Chornomorsk),Sumy State University, Chernivtsi Trade and Economics Institute and Zaporizhzhya National University participated in the championship

Second final tournament with participation of four women’s clubs took place at ZNU Sports Complex. After the first tournament (Rivne, Western Ukraine) two candidates emerged to go through to higher qualification. Tournament in Zaporizhzhya was to define the winner and Major League player between ‘Orbita-University’ and ‘Regina’.
