Ukrainian poet, literary critic, and social and political activist Dmytro Pavlychko together with the publishing house of Solomiya Pavlychko "Osnovy" (Kyiv) presented to the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University 10 volume edition of "Ukraine. Anthology of monuments state building of X-XX centuries".

October 5 in the Scientific Library of ZNU hosted another webinar of using a test database access platform McGraw-Hill, which runs under the "Electronic Library of Ukraine: the creation of knowledge centers in the universities of Ukraine "ELibUkr"».

Today in Scientific Library of ZNU held a meeting and presentation of books of Ukrainian writers and publishers brothers Vitaliy and Dmytro Kapranov.

October 18 in the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University held a regular webinar on "The Way of e-book in a library", organized by Ukrainian Library Association.

September 26 in the walls of Zaporizhzhya National University held a retreat meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council for Civil Protection and safety of the population of Zaporizhzhya region on "Methodological framework of security of life, which is based on experience, achievements of the human sciences, systematic and structured approach to analysis of emergency".
The purpose of the event - search for perspective directions of improvement of higher education in civil security and learning experience of training on labor protection, life safety and protection in higher educational institutions of the region.

September 14 in the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University was opened art exhibitions of Nicholas and Svyatoslav Roerichs. Exposure paintings of these artists in our university held as a part of Zaporizhzhya Roerichs Society.

To the new academic year staff of Zaporizhzhya National University Scientific Library prepared books and informative exhibition of scientific and technical literature "Introduction to the specialty" in all specializations of educational qualification level "Bachelor".

August 20 was the first of a series of webinars on "E-book in the library," which started Ukrainian Library Association (UCA, http://ula.org.ua). 66 Universities and Regional Libraries - association members joined the distance studies event and chat in real time.

This year Ukraine celebrates 22 anniversary of Independence. This year celebrates 22 anniversary of Ukraine Independence. In Zaporizhzhya National University, to this event dedicated the book series of exhibitions created by members of the Scientific Library of ZNU (second building). The exhibition presents documentary materials, artistic and journalistic works that reflect a wide panorama of events associated with the creation of our independent country.

August 15 on occasion of the Archaeologist Day at the National Reserve "Khortytsya" was presented directory "Cultural heritage of Zaporozhye region." At the invitation of the Department of Culture, Tourism, Nationalities and Religions of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, the event was attended by Deputy Director of the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University Nina Chala. Zaporizhzhya region Governor Alexander Peklushenko personally handed a unique publication to the Scientific Library of ZNU.
