20 December at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Zaporizhzhya National University launched Conference "Christmas reading". This scientific event is held on the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the fifth time.

December 10 at the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University held a scientific-practical conference "The credibility of judicial power as one of the basic principles of civil society". Organized by the Student Council of ZNU, Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates and City Youth Organization "Our own house".

December 5 on the basis of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design passed All-Ukrainian Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Problems of scientific research work and social responsibility of students and young scientists".

December 7-8 on the basis of ZNU held educational conference "EduConference 2013" for students of 4th-5th years and graduates from universities of our city. Event was organized by international youth organization «AIESEC», among the partners of the conference - Zaporizhzhya National University.

November 7-8, activists of Scientific Community students and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of ZNU participating in the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference on patriotic education of youth "The patriotic education of citizens in the integration process".

Representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University - Acting assistant of the Rector for public relations and Mass Media Galyna Mykytiv, editor of regional academic newspaper "Zaporizhzhya University" Tamila Tarasenko and editorial specialist Olena Khlystun - took part in the final days of the VIII exhibition of youth newspapers publications "Youth accent 2013".

October 31 at the Faculty of Management of Zaporizhzhya National University started the annual All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Problems of management regional economic potential." Already scientific sixth event held in the walls of ZNU. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhya City Council, Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, Zaporizhzhya National University, Zaporozhye Chamber of Commerce and Donetsk State University of Management.

October 24-25 at the Odessa National Polytechnic University, chaired by First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yevgen Sulima held International Ukrainian-Japanese Conference on Scientific and industrial cooperation. The event dealt with the problem of intellectual property, technology transfer, involving public and private national and foreign investment in university research, perspectives and ways to promote innovation in production and so on.

16 - 25 October at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of ZNU held National Scientific and Practical Internet Conference "Socio-psychological resources of educational institutions: experience, present and prospects"

October 9 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of ZNU in dual degree program between Zaporizhzhya National University and the University du Maine held the first in this academic year videoconference on sociolinguistics and language variation.
