11 December in the 3rd hostel of Zaporizhzhya National University students met with representatives of the Charity Foundation "Spodivannya" (Hope) Alesya Boluta and Eduard Satsky. Organizers of the event, in addition to representatives of the fund, also performed by specialists of the Department of educational work and activists of Student Council ZNU.

December 2 Head of the Legal Department of property and land relations JSC "Zaporizhstal" Yegor Semenkov held a lecture on "Current issues on registration of land rights and property of real estate in modern conditions" for the students of our university.

November 18 2nd year students of the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University held a lecture for students of Zaporizhzhya Teachers College on "Information confrontation." Conference purpose - to increase media literacy among young people.

November 20 in Zaporizhzhya National University for students of 11 faculties and Economics and Law College of our university held a lecture of fire safety technique. The event was part of Life Safety Month, which is taking place at our university. Its organizer - Division of labor protection with the assistance of the Department of educational work of ZNU.

Zaporizhzhya National University with a working visit attended Head of Political, Press and Information Department of the EU Delegation in Ukraine Zoltan Szalai. While staying at our universities Mr. Zoltan met with teachers and students of the Faculty of Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration, Faculty of History and Faculty of Economics, and also visited European Information Center of ZNU.

November 11 in Zaporizhzhya National University within the framework of International Seminar "Problems of housing and communal services property management", Director of the Institute Facility Management (Germany), Doctor of Engineering, professor Wolfgang Shmal held an open lecture on the problems of Facility Management.

October 17 to Zaporizhzhya National University with an official visit came Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Ukraine Simon Smith. During his visit to ZNU Mr. Smith met with the leadership of our university, gave a lecture to students of Zaporizhzhya National University on the prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union and participated in informational and educational events that took place within the project of the Institute of World Politics "Street University".

October 8 to Zaporizhzhya National University with an official work visit made their way Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of German Federal Republic in Ukraine Christoph Vayl and General Consul of FNR in Donetsk Detlef Voltaire. The purpose of their visit was to take part in the inauguration of the exhibition of ZNU "We want to be free people! The popular uprising in the GDR 17 June 1953", unique materials which are devoted to the massive anti-government protests in the GDR in 1953, known as the "Berlin rebellion".

September 19 honorable guest of ZNU - Vice-President of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, since 2000, Head of the department "Accounting and Auditing" of Pryazovskyi State Technical University, Doctor of Economics, professor Mykola Bilopolskyy - met with teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics of Zaporizhzhya National University.

Today in Zaporizhzhya National University for its students and staff under the project of the Independent Bankers Association and the Association of Ukraine "Dniprovskiy Bank Union" held a public lecture "Combating Cybercrime in the banking sphere." The purpose of a media tour of the cities of Ukraine, arranged by the organizers of the project is to increase financial literacy and public awareness of Ukrainian citizens on major threats of cybercrime and ways to avoid and familiarize students with the main rules of safe handling of financial information.
