October 21 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held the second day of freshmen contest "Let me introduce myself", organized traditionally by the Cultural Centre of ZNU. This time demonstrated their talents students of Faculties of Economics, Physical Education, Social Pedagogics and Psychology.

Within the popularization of academic disciplines in Economics and Law College was held during October 7-16 a week of history and law. College students had the opportunity to participate in a series of special events and demonstrate their knowledge of history and law. Responsibility for these activities were the College teachers: Maksym Nosyk, Maryna Ishchenko, Mykhailo Volobuiev and Viktoriia Bulychova.

«Project Smile» - a social project of Journalism Faculty students and graduates, aimed at supporting children from families, temporarily displaced from Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Organizers and initiators of this event were senior lecturer in Journalism Department Kateryna Sirinok-Dolharova and a graduate of the Faculty of Biology Liudmyla Makieieva. Financial support was provided by an international educational organization IREX, which in the years academic program administered by the US State Department student exchange UGRAD, at which organizers studied at the American University Graceland.

October 22 at the Faculty of Journalism students had the opportunity to attend a master class from the honorary journalist of Ukraine, host of the category "Saturday meeting" of Zaporizhzhya weekly "Subbota-plus", the chief administrator of Zaporizhzhya Philharmonic Olena Hranishevska.

16-17 October on the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University held VII All-Ukrainian contest on Administrative Law and Procedure named after Volodymyr Stefaniuk. At the grand opening, event attended Dean of the Faculty of Law ZNU Tetiana Kolomoiets, an associate partner of the international law firm "Jaroslav Grishin and partners", the lawyer Dmytro Hladkyi and teachers of the Department of Administrative and Business Law of the Faculty of Law of ZNU Shabinem Hajiyev and Iia Zozul.

2October 1 in Zaporizhzhya National University began a series of events marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of the world renowned poet and prose writer, classical Russian literature Mikhail Lermontov. Teachers and students of the Faculty of Philology decided to introduce all lovers of poetry, little known facet with the artist. So began the celebration of Lermontov and readings during which dealt with the Ukrainian motifs in his work, the influence of this poet in our literature and poetry revealed relationship with Mikhail Yurievich painting and music.
