For the championship in the categories "Desktop florarium", Photo Contest "Landscape Design in Zaporizhzhya" and in the quiz "The best expert of Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design" competed students of Zaporizhzhya National University and pupils of Zaporizhzhya schools.

November 5 at the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University was held a presentation of the textbook "Introduction to the course "Administrative Law of Ukraine": educational lecture". Authors of the publication were LL.D., professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Head of Administrative and Economic Law Department of ZNU Tetiana Kolomoiets and LL.D., professor of Administrative and Economic Law Departmrnt of ZNU Valerii Kolpakov.

In the first semester of the 2014-2015 academic year Anastasiia Ashyfina (Faculty of Biology), Svitlana Salakhan (Faculty of History) and Mykyta Shliakhovyi (Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration) will receive academic scholarships of the President of Ukraine. This is stated in the Order of the Minister of Education of Ukraine №1252 from November 3, 2014. Size of the presidential scholarship is 1100 UAH a month, which is prescribed for significant achievements in teaching, research, and public life.

November 5 in Zaporizhzhya National University held a meeting of the commission to determine the winners of the university round of the contest "Student of the Year 2014". It is composed of representatives of the administration of our university, its Departments and student government.

Student of the Biological Faculty of ZNU Anna Yuhrina was elected as a Head of Zaporizhzhya region Students' Council.
