November 21 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held a Festival of Philosophy - 2014. It is the second time in our university, but has already become popular. This time to participate in the event not only high school students joined Zaporizhzhya schools, but pupils of Zaporizhzhya region.

In early November at the Giresun University (Turkey) was held the 6th Black Sea International Symposium on strategic relations of which are located around the Black and Caspian Seas. Participating in the event were ambassadors, statesmen, scholars and leaders of higher education institutions in Germany, Austria, Poland, USA, Israel, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, Georgia, Romania, Russia and so on. One of the participants of the Symposium was the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of ZNU, professor Maksym Lepskyi. Maksym Lepskyi was appointed as the moderator of a section of international meetings and presented a report "Cross-border relations strategy".

Representatives of debate club of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration participated in the regional debate tournament for school children, held on 8 November in Dnipropetrovsk within the project "Learning democracy through debate". At the tournament, our students acted as judges.

Today in Zaporizhzhya National University was held a charity event to raise funds to support ATO members "Keep together", organized by Students' Councils o the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration, Biological Faculty and the support of the Cultural Center of ZNU.

Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of Zaporizhzhya National University Oksana Kovtun, Nadiia Potapova ta Olha Sykorska under the direction of the Independent Social Research Center, lecturer of the Sociology Department Nadiia Kuzmychova developed a series of ads devoted to regional patriotism. On 24th of October motivational advertising images can be seen on city lights of the city.

October 22 at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration was held their first training lesson within the project "Volunteer School" of the voluntary sector "Student's Heart".

At the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration ongoing activities on popularization of debates. Within the debate activity was established cooperation with the NGO "Nove Bachennia" (New Vision) and a meeting of Debate Club FSSA together with representatives of the international debate organization "IDEA".

October 9 was held a presentation for freshmen of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of Zaporizhzhya National University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration.

Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration, professor Maksym Lepskyi and associate professor of the Department of Sociology Ihor Kudinov developed and implemented the training in authoring process - business game "Week of the mayor". It is suitable for both students and for professionals in management and helps build skills and practical skills of effective strategic, tactical and operational planning, human and time resources management in a changing situation in local government.

October 3-4 at Zaporizhzhya National University was held a series of workshops on "Data visualization in business, science and everyday activities". The event, in addition to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration, were made by NGO "Union of Social Technologists of Ukraine" and the Swedish Institute.
