November 24 was held All-Ukrainian boxing tournament for the Cup of JSC "Motor Sich" among juniors 1999-2000 years of birth and youth 2000-2001 years of birth in the weight category of 70 kg.

In Zaporizhzhya National University continues the traditional Cup on minifootball, dedicated to the memory of the former Rector of ZNU (1984-2003), professor Viacheslav Tolok. Thus, on November 19 in a sports complex was held 2nd tour of the competition, in which participated teams "Hope - ZNU", "ZNU 2", ELC of ZNU (College of Economics and Law of ZNU), and - CPU (Classical Private University) , ZNTU (Zaporizhzhya National Technical University), ZSMU (Zaporizhzhya State Medical University), ZSEA and Hydropower College, "National team of Zaporizhzhya regional professional-oriented educational institutions".

November 13-15 at the National Center for business and cultural cooperation "Ukrainian House" (Kyiv) is the International Specialized Exhibition "Education and Career - Students' Day 2014", whose participants are 50 Ukrainian universities.
Zaporizhzhya National University received a Grand Prix in the category "Competence approach in the educational activities of the high school". The awards ceremony was held today, 13 November. November 11 Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration has awarded the winners of the regional competition for gifted young people in science, organized by the Office of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports. This year the competition received 78 papers in different directions from all institutions of higher education in our region. Among the winners - four students of Zaporizhzhya National University. According to the jury, our university was the most active for the number submitted for participation in the competition works.

November 7 Law Faculty students participated in the brain-ring "Constitutional Law Experts". The event was organized by the Department of Constitutional and Labour Law, Law Faculty's Students' Council and Zaporizhzhya Students League UBA Center. Judges of the contest were the Dean of the Faculty of Law Tetiana Kolomoiets and teachers Nataliia Verlos, Hanna Zhuravlova, Mykola Martynov.

November 5 in Zaporizhzhya National University held a meeting of the commission to determine the winners of the university round of the contest "Student of the Year 2014". It is composed of representatives of the administration of our university, its Departments and student government.

October 17 in sports and recreation complex of Zaporizhzhya National University welcomed the winners of the tournament checkers among girls, which was held as part of this year's sports among students of our university.

The staff of the Faculty of Economics of our university received an honorable victory at the All-Ukrainian level. Through the efforts of its teachers and students, Zaporizhzhya National University recognized leader in the most prestigious category "Best Educational Institution in quality of specialist training for the banking and financial sector" in the 4th All-Ukrainian contest "The best institution on preparation specialists for the banking and financial sector in 2014" (according to the magazine "Banker").

According to the decdee of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №1088 from 30 September 2014 "On the results of All-Ukrainian Students' Olympiad of 2013/2014 academic year" Zaporizhzhya National University ranked the 4th among 29 traditional universities of Ukraine.

Team of Economics and Law College of ZNU in track and field took second place in the regional championship among students of higher educational institutions of the I-II accreditation levels. The competition was held October 7-8 in sports complex "Motor-Sich".
