Collection of "Proceedings of the Historical Faculty of Zaporizhzhya national university" has gained respectable international status. After passing an independent examination, publication included in the framework of international Scientometrics «Index Copernicus» (Poland). This database is currently the authoritative tool that allows you to assess the quality and impact of scientific publications. At the end of 2015 «Index Copernicus» includes over 13,000 journals. It is noteworthy that 11 Ukrainian periodicals of historical sciences indexed in the database, Zaporizhzhya magazine took the 3rd place by rating (ICV 2014 - 54.5 - http://journals.indexcopernicus.com/Scholarly+Works+of+t,p24782551,3.html?utm_source=SARE&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ICI+Journals+Master+List+2014).

Last week at Zaporizhzhya National University held a working meeting of the Coordinating Council of Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates, Postdoctoral Students and Young Scientists with Vice-Rector for Science and Research Gennadiy Vasylchuk.

On November 3 at Zaporizhzhya National University were awarded with certificates alumni of Postgraduate and Postdoctoral Studies Department. Of the twenty young scientists the vast majority expanded ranks of scientific and pedagogical staff of our university.

The staff of Zaporizhzhya National University congratulates postgraduates Khrystyna Kostiantynivna Novikova (dissertation advisor – Volodymyr Buhai) and Vitaliia Oleksandrivna Lihuzova (dissertation advisor – Anatolii Kushchyk) with the successful presentation of the dissertations for a candidate of economic sciences on specialty 08.00.04 – "Economics and Company Management".

Yesterday, on September 29, at Zaporizhzhya National University Student Government held a meeting at the Faculty of Economics. The theme of the event was creation on the basis of the Faculty "Green Economics" school. Moderated the work of the meeting - members of the scientific society of students, postgraduates, postdoctorates and young academics and activists of Students` Council of the Faculty of Economics - became Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Alla Cherep and director of Ecological Culture Center in Kiev Natalia Pichkur.

Today, September 25, at the faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University begins its two-day International Conference "Underground space, exploration, research, secondary use". The scope of this research collection is unique not only for academic historians of our university, but also for members of all national science. The importance and relevance of the proposed for consideration and discussion of topics by the fact that the event has shown willingness to participate 40 scientists from leading universities from all regions of Ukraine. Also their thesis for the conference submitted by researchers from the UK, Germany, Poland, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.

Recently in Zaporizhzhya City Council has awarded the young scientists - winners of projects in energy saving and energy efficiency among students. Up to nine projects of students of urban universities of the 2nd-4th accreditation level recognized the best, among which the Faculty of Management undergraduate work of Zaporizhzhya National University Anton Mandrykin.

Zaporizhzhya National University scientists are taking active part in the process of reforming the legislation and government of our country. They often act as experts and conducting broad powers educational activities, helping to improve the general state of political and legal literacy. That is when in Ukraine going on an important for the further development reform of decentralization of the government, representatives of the teaching staff of ZNU organized a series of special events, meetings round tables, discussions, debates, etc., which incorporate not only the teachers and students of our university, but and the general public.

The staff of Zaporizhzhya National University congratulates Oleksandr Krasnokutskyi, Associate Professor of Social Philosophy and Management Department with successful defense of his D.Sc. in Philosophy thesis in specialty 09.00.03 - "Social Philosophy and Philosophy of History".

26 June on the basis of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of Zaporizhzhya National University held presentation of sociological research of the social thought on the current state and future prospects of the National Reserve "Khortytsia". Research conducted masters under the guidance of the Faculty associate professor of political scienceї Nataliia Lepska. At the event visited staff of the reserve chaired by the Director General Maksym Ostapenko. Guests of the University sincerely interested in conclusions that have made young scientists of ZNU, so that at the end of the presentation heard suggestions on further cooperation between the Faculty and reserve "Khortytsia".
