On June 11-12, 2019, Yurii Kahanov, Vice-Rector for scientific work and education, and head of department of monitoring the quality of education and licensing Maryna Tomchenko took part in the International Conference "Development of the system of quality assurance in higher education in Ukraine", which was held in Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. The conference was attended by over 600 participants from nearly 200 higher education institutions and educational organizations from different countries.

June 2019 is the month of the 50th anniversary of the death of Viktor Petrov (1894-1969), a Ukrainian writer, critic, historian and philologist. From the point of view of a problematic, research search, artistic uniqueness and substantial filling, its scientific and literary heritage is one of the outstanding achievements of modern Ukrainian humanities. The ideas of Viktor Petrov are compared with the thoughts of prominent intellectuals, such as Friedrich Nietzsche, Bernard Shaw and Michel Foucault.

Two-day Ukrainian-German conference "Climate Adaptation: Challenges and Prospects at the National, Regional and Local Levels" began its work on June 6 in Dnipro city. The event was held with the support of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Donetsk (office in Dnipro) and the environmental organization “The Voice of Nature”.

Representatives of ZNU and the Institute of Engineering of ZNU took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Theory and Practice: Problems and Prospects", which was held on May 9-10 at Lithuanian University of Sport (Kaunas) and Marijampolė College (Marijampolė).

Recently, a participant of the EUROPROC project, Associate Professor Olena Tupakhina took part in the regional conference “Eurointegration: The Power of Opportunities”. During the scientific meeting, she presented the results of implementing Erasmus + projects at Zaporizhzhia National University.

On March 19-20, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ukraine - the European Union: from partnership to association" was held at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. It was organized jointly with the Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers of European Integration and the National Erasmus + office in Ukraine with the support of the program of Lviv City Council “Scientific Lviv”.

The International Conference “Place of Ukraine in the World: Municipal Marketing and Branding” was held as part of the PLEDDG project in Kyiv. The conference included group discussions and workshops on municipal branding and marketing. The Engineering Institute of ZNU was also presented among the participants.
