Daria Yurchenko is a student of the 1st year of master’s program of Faculty of Foreign Philology. At the stage of criticizing works in the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in German Languages (English, German) she has taken the 11th position in the ranking. And on April 16, the winners have been announced. And as a result of which the student received a diploma of 3 degrees.

According to the Ukrainian State Center for International Education, over 76,000 international students from 154 countries study in Ukraine. There are almost 3000 students in Zaporizhia (more than in Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Odessa). These foreigners are from Morocco, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Ecuador, India, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Madagascar and other countries. Many of them study at Zaporizhia National University.

On April 22, the habitants of different countries celebrate World Earth Day. This is a holiday of unity of peoples of the planet for environmental protection and preservation of those riches and natural resources that nature has endowed us with. Professors and students of CEL (College of Economics and Law) ZNU did not stay away from this celebration.

The University of ZNU Graduates Stories of Success is being implemented at the University. And another piece of this column is devoted to the story of the experience of professional formation and success of a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Zaporizhia National University, specializing in German Philology, Mariia Shapochka. After graduating from ZNU, she continued her studies and received her diploma in Germany, studying German studies, as well as transmedia relations. Now Maria teaches German in college and works in the field of online marketing.

At the Faculty of Economics of ZNU, XIV International Scientific and Practical conference «Management of socio-economic development of regions and state» was realized remotely. The representatives of Lithuania, Poland, Kazakhstan and other countries took part in its work.
