Young writers of Zaporizhzhya made up their minds to prove the inhabitants of the city, that the literary life in our region not only exists, but develops quickly and has reached a qualitatively new level. To prove it members of Folk-Literary studio of Students’ center of culture and those of the Literary club «99» originated conducting open round tables, where various aspects of modern literary life of our city are discussed.
The festival of amateur performances of the first year students “Let us introduce ourselves” has already become a good tradition in Zaporizhzhya national university. For over a decade due to conducting of this contest the first-year students get an opportunity not only to display their talents, but to unite the large student family of ZNU, to feel unity of the faculties.
Students’ Scientific society of ZNU summed up results of its activity during the last educative year, administered the new chairman and reorganized its activity. All those problems were discussed on the last conference of SSS on the 5-th of November. 
The meeting caused the great interest both among lecturers, and among students of our university.
The well-known Ukrainian author, the winner and laureate of many literary premiums Petro Rebro (in Ukrainian his surname means “the rib”) in the framework of celebration of the Week of Ukrainian language presented his new books - the 4-th and 5-th volumes of “Selected works” in our university.
Second-year students of the historic faculty made up their minds to create the museum on the base of the boarding school “Wonder world” (Vasilivsky district, Zaporizhzhya region).
“November is the month of Ukrainian literature in Zaporizhzhya” - under such a slogan the youth project “Garlic Fresh” started the last Saturday in Zaporizhzhya national university.
