October 20, Zaporizhzhya National University hospitably opened its doors to pupils of schools not only in our city and region, but also to entrants from neighboring regions - Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk. Pupils of Zaporizhzhya Gymnasium №6 headed by Law lecturer, teacher-methodologist Valentyna Pochtar made their way to the Faculty of Law of ZNU to learn more about entrance to our university and especially studies in the Faculty which trains specialists in the legal profession.
At Zaporizhzhya National University the traditional handing of the certificates of graduation from the Preparatory Department took place. This year, nearly 500 university entrants, graduates of the city and region, during the school year were preparing for entering the higher education institutions on the basis of our university.
21 on April at the Open Day in Zaporizhzhya National University visited nearly 700 high school students not only from the city but also from all areas of our region. Applicants and their parents were able to learn more about the selected faculties, ask the university administration and staff selection committee, take a tour of our university campus and receive information material. 
On 25th of March participants of the III Ukrainian round of competition on Ukrainian and literature visited ZNU. Participants had the excursion in the campus and in the museums of ZNU.
March 4 at the Department of Sociology and Administration of Zaporizhzhya National University started operating the first Ukrainian school of applied sociology. The uniqueness of this project lies in the fact that the organizers - the sector case studies based on the FSO - focused their attention on the aspect of the application.
