24 on April in Zaporizhzhya National University Object command post exercise held on the topic "Management measures to protect participants in the educational process of Zaporizhzhya National University Emergency technological and socio-political character".

18-19 April Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Makeevka) was the International scientific and practical conference "Effective technology training and education in the context of the Bologna Process", which was held under the chairmanship of First deputy minister of education and science of Ukraine.

21 on April at the Open Day in Zaporizhzhya National University visited nearly 700 high school students not only from the city but also from all areas of our region. Applicants and their parents were able to learn more about the selected faculties, ask the university administration and staff selection committee, take a tour of our university campus and receive information material. 

April 20 representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University joined the all-Ukrainian action "For a clean environment". Students headed by the University Student Council Anton Osadchyk student councils and heads of departments, including Anatoly Shashkov, Alina Ivanenko, Julia Pigareva, Margarita Nemnitova participated in cleaning the park "Oak grove". To support the students of our university, the work day visiting the first rector of Zaporizhzhya National University Oleksandr Bondar and assistant to the rector on educational work of Natalie Voronova.

Members of the scientific community and postgraduate students of Faculty of Biology of Zaporizhzhya National University organized a campaign to collect waste paper. 

Zaporizhzhya National University, paid a working visit adviser on education and science in Ukraine Embassy of Bulgaria Petar Tanev. During a meeting with the rector ZNU Nikolai Frolov, the representatives of the teaching staff of our university and community organizations in the city, Mr. Tanev discussed prospects of further cooperation. He also met with the students of the Bulgarian language, and answered questions from the media Zaporozhye.

Works of three students of biological faculty were honored at All-Ukrainian competition of student`s scientific works on the “Ecology and Ecological Safety” which took place on the basis of Donetsk national technical university. 

The names of winners of Ukrainian competition of student's researches on the natural, technical sciences and the humanities in 2012/2013 are became known. Among the winners – 16 students of ZNU.
