August 23 on the square in front of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration was celebrated National Flag Day of Ukraine, in which took an active part and representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University.
August 21 in Zaporizhzhya National University chaired by the Rector Mykola Frolov was university-wide commissions meeting dedicated to this year's settlement into students hostels of ZNU. In addition Mykola Frolov and Rector’s Assistant on Educational Work Nataliya Voronova. The event was attended by all Commission departments, which included both staff and student activists, representatives of the department of educational, administrative parts, labor unions, the legal department commanders and hostels.
This week ended archaeological practice of students of junior and senior years of the Faculty of History, which lasted from July 1 to August 11. For 27 consecutive year, future historians led by Head of Teaching and Research Laboratory of Archaeological Research, associate professor Hennadii Toschev and associate professor of World History and International Relations Department Svitlana Andrukhiv conduct excavations in the territory of the reserve mound Mamai mountain, near the village of Velyka Znamianka of Kamenka-Dneprovsk District almost bordering to Kherson region.
Famous athlete Zaporizhzhya, Honored Master of Sports, Zaporizhzhya National University graduate Svitlana Bondarenko won "gold" and three "silver" medals during Swimming World Championship among veterans.
From July 27 to August 3 in Yaremche of Ivano-Frankivsk region held the 3rd School of "Supremacy of Law and Constitutionalism" for students, organized by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). From Zaporizhzhya National University in the School took part a Law Faculty student, a member of the Students' Council of ZNU Yevgen Artemov.
Students of the Faculty of Biology returned from the educational practice, they passed this year in the company "Motor-Sich" diagnostic centers "Medlife Bio" in Zaporizhzhya Titanium-Magnesium Plant and the Institute of titanium.
