October 4 Zaporizhzhya National University visited the President's of Ukraine Adviser for Humanitarian Affairs, National Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Tomenko. During his visit, Mykola Volodymyrovych met with students, teachers and congratulated them on Teacher's Day.

June 11 at Zaporizhzhya National University was held a meeting of the Rector Mykola Frolov with students from Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

May 26th Vice-Rector for Maintenance and Supply Serhiy Kushnir met with teachers and students of the University for conducting outreach lectures on energy saving. The event was initiated by representatives for Maintenance and Supply, and it was organized by Rector’s Assistant on Educational Work Nataliya Voronova, members of the Educational Work Department and the Students' Council of ZNU (Head - Olha Lebedeva).

May 21 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia in Ukraine Mrs. Arhita Daudze accompanied by the Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Kiev Andris Seyans visited Zaporizhzhya National University. During a conversation with representatives of the administration and students of our university Mrs. Daudze shared with them her vision of history and present of Latvia and Ukraine, as well as views on the possibilities of cooperation between our countries in the field of Education. May 17 Zaporizhzhya National University visited candidate for President of Ukraine Yuliia Timoshenko.

May 16 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held the regular meeting of the Rector Mykola Frolov with representatives of our university student activists headed by the chairman of the Students' Council Olha Lebedeva. The event was also attended by Vice-Rector for Educational Research and Academic Affairs Oleksandr Hura, Rector’s Assistant on Educational Work Nataliya Voronova, Acting Rector's Assistant for Public Relations and Media Galina Mykytiv and the Head of the Educational Work Department Svitlana Kondratenko.

At the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of Zaporizhzhya National University was held open sessions on the role of contemporary Zaporizhzhya modern literature in the context of world culture. 4th year student of specialties "English Language and Literature" , "German Language and Literature" and "French Language and Literature" under the direction of associate professor of German Philology and Translation Valentyna Botner reviewed novel "Winter cuckoo" of Dara Kornii and Tala Vladmyrova and mentioned Zaporizhzhya poetry writers Oles Barlih and Anna Lupynos.

May 14th candidate for President of Ukraine Olha Bohomolets met with teachers and students of Zaporizhzhya National University. According to Olha Bohomolets, the reason of her visit to our university was listening to students and teaching audiences about current political issues in order to further consider it in her political activity.

May 13 freshmen of the Faculty of Philology of Zaporizhzhya National University (specialty "Ukrainian language and literature") met with Zaporizhzhya journalist, critic, writer and musician Valentyn Terletskyi.

May 12 Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on freedom of expression and information, the trustee of a presidential candidate of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, people's deputy of Ukraine Mykola Tomenko been working visit in Zaporizhzhya National University. Mykola Volodymyrovych met with teachers and students from various Faculties of our university to discuss the present and future of Ukraine.
