July 3 at the Faculty of Philology of Zaporizhzhya National University were awarded diplomas to graduates. This year, at the Faculty of Philology of Zaporizhzhya National University has prepared and graduated 107 masters, specialists and bachelors of Ukrainian and Russian Departments, of which 23 - were awarded with diplomas cum laude.
June 16 in the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University presented a new collection of poems of the famous poet, graduate of our university Maryna Bratsylo "Silk country". The event was a part of the competition of young Ukrainian poetry and art song "Khortitskiy Bells" named after the writer.
May 13 freshmen of the Faculty of Philology of Zaporizhzhya National University (specialty "Ukrainian language and literature") met with Zaporizhzhya journalist, critic, writer and musician Valentyn Terletskyi.
Last week at the Philological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University was held a literary evening "Taras Shevchenko and Lazarevskyi family". Honorary guests of the event were the descendants of the famous Ukrainian family Lazarevskyi - Inna Lazarevskaia-Skoropadska - great-granddaughter of Fedor Matviiovych Lazarevskyi, and her son Oleksandr Skoropadskyi. The organizer of the meeting was associate professor of Ukrainian literature Valentyna Kravchenko.
April 18 fourth-year students of the Faculty of Philology organized and held a lecture on "Taras Shevchenko and Oleksandr Dovzhenko in the spiritual space of Sixties". The event visited students of the second and fifth years together with their supervisors - Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Valentyna Kravchenko and Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Oksana Sichkar.
Pysanka studios have long turned into a good tradition for Zaporizhzhya National University. For the fifth consecutive year, all interested persons gathered in the upper room of the Faculty of Philology in Easter week to take part in the workshops "Easter egg Lights" led by Folk Art Master Olena Yatsenko.
